And, after two weeks, she updates! Hooray! *sarcasum drip* Well, I've had...school, basically. History, unfortunately, is incredibly boring with Dunn as a teacher *snores* Trust me to get her for my final year, with my rottern luck. English is easy so far, not that we've done much. Lit, a little overwhealming. Not quite sure what I've gottern myself into with that one, though I suppose we'll see. Theatre studies is good so far, though the new teacher's...different to Mr Johnson. Ah well. We got our parts for our production of Meadea today. I get to play Jason >.> Should be...interesting, playing a weak-willed, 2 timing, silly man. Ah well, at least i don't have to learn -masses- of lines...that'd be painful. What else am I doing? ...ah yes, maths. It's...er...maths-ish? Alot better then last year, that's for sure. At least I can understand what the teacher's talking about this year.
Hmm...in other news...skipped the 'Thanksgiving Service' celebrating '130 years of PLC' today, thank the gods. Really didn't feel like having bibles thrown at my head for...however long the thing was. Stayed home, did my maths and history and watched 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'. Much more rewarding then a church service, that's for sure. Hmm...ah yes, House concerts are in full swing. Am head of costumes for Stirling this year. Again, not quite sure what i've gottern myself into, as the house captains keep forgetting to tell me what cosumtes they actaully need >.< Makes life -very- difficult, i assure you. Well, what comes comes I suppose. I better be getting house colors for the ammount of times I've pricked my fingers though >.<
Just finished my book for lit, 'The Picture of Dorian Gray'. It was...different from what i normally read, that was for sure. Very...fancy language. Too much musing and not enough actual story, which dissapointed me somewhat. Along with a lack of charecter development. Also, Wilde's overuse of 'cried' to describe speech annoyed me throughout the book. Sure, it's good not to use 'said' all the time, but the ammount he used 'cried' almost absurd! I'm sure they were not crying the entire time, and Wilde could have easily used 'exclaimed' or some other word instead. But hey, it's his book not mine. I don't reccomend it unless you're happy to read alot of internal musing and can put up with a lack of plot.
There we go, Spids, I updated. Happy now? ^^
